IONA BIG SING
Members of the Iona Community Midlands Family Group invite you to an Iona Big Sing at St Michael's Church this Sunday (7 January) at 6 pm. It will be led by Revd Christine Polhill, supported by members of St Michael's Combined Choirs, and offers the opportunity to sing well known Iona favourites and to learn some new Iona hymns. Please come along and bring your friends. Refreshments will be provided after the service.

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY 2018 – United Service
At St Chad’s, Lichfield on Sunday 21st January at 6.30pm.
The service, which will be led ecumenically, will include contemporary worship, prayer stations and input around the theme of the week: “That all may be free” and the biblical text “Your right hand O Lord is glorious in power “ (Exodus 15.6). These are taken from the resource material provided by churches in the Caribbean and made available by Churches Together in England.

We hope that churches will support this service.

Saturday 27th January 201819:30LICHFIELD GOSPEL CHOIR CONCERT AT LICHFIELD METHODIST CHURCH
Concert by the Lichfield Gospel Choir on Saturday January 27 at 7.30 pm Lichfield Methodist Church.
Tickets £8 and £6 (concessions) includes interval tea and biscuits available from Anne Brown (254992) and Warren (255292). The choir's DVD of their concert with Black Voices in the cathedral during last year's Festival is available. Conductor is Themba Mvula. An inspiring evening is in prospect. Proceeds will go to a mission project in South Africa (Phakamisa)
19:30LIVE ISSUE IN CONCERT AT WADE STREET CHURCH
We’re pleased to be welcoming Colin Elliott back to wade Street Church in January. He is an Irish country gospel singer and was very well received when he visited us a couple of years ago. This time he’ll be bringing his band, Live issue – the first Irish country gospel band to appear at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Tickets £5.
