200 Places of Welcome
We are really pleased to be able to share with you the fantastic news that Places of Welcome registrations have now reached 200 across the Black Country, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and North Shropshire network.
We can’t let this amazing milestone go unnoticed, so we want to celebrate our wonderful, welcoming network by inviting you and your volunteers to one of four parties, which will be hosted by some of our fabulous Places of Welcome across the Diocese of Lichfield. Thank you to our party hosts, who are:
- Wednesday 6th November 10.00 - 12.00 at Stoke Social Place of Welcome, Stoke City Football Club, bet365 Stadium, Stanley Matthews Way, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 4EG
- Wednesday 13th November 9.30 - 11.30 at St Thomas’ Church Place of Welcome, Cresswell Crescent, Bloxwich, WS3 2UW
- Friday 22nd November 10.00 - 12.00 at The Lichfield Garrick Theatre Place of Welcome, The Green Room Cafe, Castle Dyke, Lichfield, WS13 6HR
- Saturday 30th November 10:30 – 12:30 at Holy Trinity Church Place of Welcome, Bushbury Road, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, WV10 0LY
Places of Welcome are always open to everyone without any need for registration, but just so that we know which size celebration cake to buy, on this one occasion we would ask that you register your interest in attending by emailing strengtheningcommunities@lichfield.anglican.org. But please don’t worry if you forget – you won't be turned away. And, of course, we'll be joining with all the volunteers and community members from our host venues.
We want to say a huge thank you to you for building and being part of this network. Please do join us in celebrating our 200 registrations!
