Churches Together in Lichfield hosted the Christmas Day Together event at Wade Street Church and also visited those who could not make it in person.
A spokesperson said:
“It is over 20 years since the first Christmas Day Together lunch at Wade St Church. This year we supported over 50 people, most of whom would otherwise have spent the day on their own.
“In the morning, a team of volunteers delivered a box of Christmas goodies to 23 people in and around Lichfield who weren’t able to come to the hall and were about to spend the day alone.
“Meanwhile, the team back at the church hall prepared the three-course lunch for the 30 guests and another ten volunteers.
“Many of the guests have limited mobility, so the volunteer drivers collected them from their homes. The food was greatly enjoyed by all.”
