Please remind congregations that photo ID is required to vote in person, and that it's possible to obtain a Voter Authority Certificate, where the voter doesn't have a suitable form of ID.
Applications can be made online at Apply for photo ID to vote (called a ‘Voter Authority Certificate’) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk), or the form can be downloaded, printed off and completed for submission to the local electoral team.
Voters might also like to consider applying for a postal vote, rather than voting in person.
It's important that we all start thinking about this now, as the deadline for arranging postal votes and voter authority certificates will close some time before 4th July; anyone who leaves this until the last-minute risks being disenfranchised.
