The Lichfield Diocesan Digest is a sound magazine that’s been produced by the Cathedral community since 1988 for everyone across the Lichfield Diocese but especially for people who are blind or partially sighted.
Now for the first time you can hear the latest edition on your smart speaker. Just ask Alexa to; ‘Open Talking Newspaper.’
Alexa then asks you to say the name of the talking newspaper you want to hear.
Say ‘Lichfield Diocesan Digest.’ Alexa then asks if that is correct.
Say ‘Yes’ and the latest edition starts playing.
Say ‘Next track’ to skip ahead or ‘Back’ to return to the beginning of the previous track.
To pause just say ‘Pause’ or ‘Alexa off’ but the clever thing is you can go back and pick up where you left off even if you have asked Alexa to play other applications in the meantime.
